This session highlights some values not Biblically based that have crept into our relationships, unknowingly to many devout Christians. These worldly values influence our choices such as who we marry and the reason for marrying that ultimately can have serious consequences on our salvation. Many of us are not aware of how our relationship with others can even affect our prayer life. We will learn more godly principles that can be adapted to promote healthier and more intimate relationships with God and others in this session.
Learning Objectives:
- To understand what is the purpose of marriage. Is our pursuit of marriage for the right reason?
- To know the difference between a contractual relationship and a covenant relationship.
- To learn how we are commonly entering into relationships with ungodly principles that are destroying our relationships
- To understand how our mate selection can seriously impact on our salvation
