Presentation Guidelines

1. Call in at least 5 minutes before your scheduled session time.  Please refer to the Presenter Agreement for the date and time for your session(s).
2. Call in from a landline phone (chorded preferred).  This is for recording quality.  Cellular and cordless phones are not reliable as signals can drop and calls can have static interference.
3. Call from a quiet room with no distractions.  Let those around you know that you are doing a presentation and cannot be disturbed.
4. Turn off call waiting on the phone that you are calling in from.
5. Silence all cellphones & pagers, and computers.
6. During the moments before the session begins, let the host know when you would like to have the question & answer period for your session.

Tips for presenting:

1. Remember that you have valuable information to share and that people have come to listen to you.
2. Even though you cannot see or hear them, there is a listening audience. The conference host will be on the calls with you, so you will not be alone.
3. Relax and let your personality show through.  And smile!  A smile can be heard over the phone.
4. When the session begins, you will hear introduction music, then the host will briefly introduce you and the topic that you will be presenting on.  Then the floor is yours!
